Daniel Alexander’s
practice is focused on litigating complex
commercial disputes in state and federal
courts. Daniel has litigated cases in the
antitrust, securities and consumer
protection fields in both individual
lawsuits and in nationwide class actions and
other sophisticated multi-plaintiff
disputes.
Before joining Coleman Frost in 2007, Daniel
practiced at O'Melveny & Myers LLP for
almost six years. At O'Melveny, Daniel's
experience included managing the
coordination of almost 90 class actions on
behalf of a major electronics manufacturer
and substantial work managing class action
litigation for Ford Motor Company.
Daniel began his career as a law clerk to
the Honorable Craig T. Enoch of the Supreme
Court of Texas after receiving his J.D.
degree with honors from Southern Methodist
University and his undergraduate degree with
honors from McMurry University. |

Bruce Armstrong has over thirty years’
experience as a litigator and has tried over
100 complex civil jury cases to verdict in
state and federal courts. Bruce’s trial
experience covers a wide range of
substantive practice areas, including
various commercial disputes and real estate,
bankruptcy, administrative law, professional
negligence, torts, personal injury and
products liability cases. He has an
impressive record of victories to his
credit, including obtaining multi-million
dollar verdicts in cases in which Bruce has
represented the plaintiff and numerous
defense verdicts when acting as defense
counsel.
Bruce has also lectured and had articles
published concerning a variety of
trial-related subjects. His articles include
“The Stealth Attack on Privileges,” Voir
Dire, Vol. 6, Issue 3, Fall 1999, “Avoiding

Derrick Coleman's
practice is focused on litigating complex
commercial and other disputes in the state
and federal courts. Derrick has litigated
cases in the consumer protection, unfair
competition, anti-trust, real estate,
securities, health care, employment, and
toxic tort fields in both individual
lawsuits and arbitration proceedings and in
nationwide class actions and other
sophisticated multi-plaintiff disputes. He
has represented a wide variety of clients
over the years, including several of the top
ten largest publicly-traded corporations in
the world, a number of other Fortune 100
companies, medium-size and small businesses,
and governmental and quasi-governmental
entities. He has represented some of the
largest business organizations in some of
the most widely-publicized litigation
matters in the nation’s history, including
cases with billions of dollars at stake.
Before forming Coleman Frost in 2004,
Derrick practiced at O'Melveny & Myers LLP
for seven years. At O'Melveny, Derrick's
experience included serving as the primary
liaison counsel for Ford Motor Company in
the highly-publicized statewide coordination
proceedings, In re Bridgestone/Firestone,
featuring hundreds of wrongful death and
personal injury claims nationwide. Derrick
started his practice at Haight, Brown &
Bonesteel LLP in 1993 where he was
responsible for a variety of tort,
construction defect and labor and employment
cases.
Derrick has written and lectured on class
action-related topics, including lecturing
before the Association of Insurance
Compliance Professionals (“Class Action
Litigation and its Impact Upon Insurers and
Regulators”).
Derrick earned his J.D. and M.B.A. degrees
from the University of Southern California
in 1993 after graduating from Duke
University in 1990 with a dual-major B.S. in
physics and a B.A. in political science. |

Caroline Craddock's practice is focused on
litigation. Caroline started her practice at
Haight, Brown & Bonesteel in 1991 where she
handled a variety of mass tort and product
liability cases in the pharmaceutical,
medical device and consumer products fields.
Caroline has also served as regulatory
counsel for her clients in the consumer
goods manufacturing field.
Caroline earned her undergraduate degree in
business administration from the University
of Southern California in 1986, where she
also spent four years as a member of the
University's varsity golf team. Caroline
then worked in the investment banking
industry for two years before going back to
school and earning her Juris Doctorate
degree from the Ohio State University
College of Law in 1991.

J.B. Frost
specializes in representing Fortune 500 and
start-up clients in transactions and
disputes involving intellectual property and
technology assets and issues, including
drafting and negotiating agreements to
develop, acquire, sell, manage, license and
exploit a variety of computer hardware
components and software programs and
trademarks, copyrights, patents, trade
secrets and personality rights.
J.B.'s practice also includes counseling
clients regarding emerging Internet, privacy
and consumer protection laws, including
drafting and negotiating a variety of
digital content distribution agreements,
formulating online ecommerce policies and
contracts for a variety of commercial
websites and designing comprehensive data
collection, use and transfer policies. J.B.
also helps clients create and perform
comprehensive intellectual property asset
protection programs and audits and
represents clients in connection with the
adoption, registration and protection of
trademarks at the United States Patent and
Trademark Office and in trademark disputes
under ICANN's Uniform Domain Name Dispute
Resolution Policy.
After graduating from Loyola Law School in
1996, magna cum laude, J.B. practiced at
O'Melveny & Myers LLP and served as the
co-chair of the firm's Intellectual Property
and Technology Transactions group until
co-founding Coleman Frost LLP in 2004. J.B.
has also written and lectured on various
intellectual property and Internet issues,
including making presentations to the Los
Angles County Bar Association on privacy
issues and to the Software Council of
Southern California on the challenges
presented in ASP licensing models. |

Don Johnson
has more than 30 years of experience in
securities transactions and securities law
compliance, mergers and acquisitions,
corporate finance, commercial transactions,
business organizations and related matters.
Don also has advised hundreds of clients in
private and public offerings of securities
and in acquisition, merger, and corporate
reorganization transactions of public and
private companies. These transactions have
involved clients in a broad range of
industries, including automotive,
advertising and marketing, aerospace,
agriculture, banking, consumer products,
computer hardware and software, e commerce,
entertainment, financial services,
healthcare, insurance, Internet,
manufacturing, motion picture, multimedia,
oil and gas, professional services, real
estate, restaurants, technology, and venture
capital.
Don previously was a member of Richman,
Mann, Chizever, Philips and Duboff, Beverly
Hills, California, Loeb & Loeb, Los Angeles,
California, and Mulvaney, Kahan & Barry, San
Diego, California.

Loretta
Mills’ practice focuses on employment
litigation and counseling and complex
business litigation.
Prior to joining Coleman Frost, Loretta
spent several years with Littler Mendelson,
LLP, the national-recognized labor and
employment firm, dedicating her practice to
the representation of employers in all
aspects of employment litigation and
counseling. Loretta has extensive experience
handling a variety of employment-related
issues such as wage and hour disputes,
employee class actions, trade secrets and
unfair competition, employment contracts,
wrongful termination, discrimination,
retaliation, and harassment.
Loretta began her career at Christensen,
Miller, Fink, Jacobs, Glaser, Weil & Shapiro
LLP, where she was involved in litigating
high-stakes, high-profile cases. Loretta
honed her litigation skills at Liner
Yankelevitz Sunshine & Regenstreif LLP,
where she continued to litigate complex,
multi-million dollar business and commercial
matters in the areas of entertainment,
employment, intellectual property,
securities, insurance, real estate, toxic
torts and class actions.
Loretta graduated from Loyola Law School in
1998, where she was an Editor of the Loyola
Law Review and published author in the
Loyola Entertainment Law Journal. Loretta
graduated from UCLA with Honors in 1994. |
