Paul Chancellor
     Of Counsel

Paul Chancellor’s practice focuses on intellectual property. A registered patent attorney, his primary practice includes the preparation of U.S. and foreign patent and trademark applications, infringement opinions, licenses and internet law. His areas of technical expertise include mechanical and electrical devices and he is a frequent consultant in the area of electric power generation. He has prepared and prosecuted patent applications for automotive systems, electrical equipment, power electronics, turbomachinery, power and generating equipment, medical devices, e-commerce and advanced energy saving products.

Mr. Chancellor has a broad range of legal and engineering experience including the practice of law with two California law firms, patent and trademark portfolio management and engineering/engineering management roles with large multinationals. A member of the California Bar, Mr. Chancellor holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in mechanical engineering from Auburn University, a graduate degree in environmental and applied fluid dynamics from the Von Karman Institute in Brussels, Belgium, a law degree from Southwestern University in Los Angeles and is a graduate of Harvard Business School's Advanced Management Program.
