Sandra Kossacoff’s practice focuses on real estate transactions, including structuring of real estate acquisitions and sales, office and retail leases, management agreements, comprehensive financial services, loan and portfolio acquisitions and dispositions, loan restructuring and workouts, development and expansion of office, retail and industrial properties. She represents buyers, sellers, borrowers, lenders, landlords, tenants and developers in the acquisition, sale, leasing and financing of all types and sizes of real estate including shopping centers, office buildings and residential development. Sandra has successfully handled multi-million dollar transactions for office, retail, hospitality, industrial and multifamily properties.
From 1985 to 1988 Sandra was an attorney with the law firm of Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker in Los Angeles, CA. She later was in-house counsel at Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation before becoming Senior Vice President and General Counsel, RRP Management Corp. from 1989 to 1991. She was Vice President and General Counsel of Colony Advisors, Inc. before starting her own firm in 1993.
Ms. Kossacoff obtained her J.D. from the University of Southern California in 1985, where she was in the Hale Moot Court Honors Program and was a Legion Lex Scholar. She graduated with her B.A. in Communications Studies, cum laude, from the University of California at Los Angeles, where she was on the Dean's List, Byron Holland Scholar, and a National Merit Commended Student.
